Trying to decide on trying a spot I have been to before in Region 6 I'm somewhat familiar with, with 11 to 1 odds, try somewhere new in Region 7 with better odds or somewhere in Region 5 with tougher odds but more variety of game as in better mulie hunting.

I'm always up for a new adventure.

I'm not 40-year veteran of moose hunting, but I'm applying with a couple new hunters (26 and 32) so at 63 with 5 moose trips under my belt I guess I must know a little bit more than them. They're eager to get out hunting, so I'd like them to have a good experience. Besides, I need the young muscle to pull critters out of the bush.

Yeah,we're in the same boat....with the decline in moose populations around PG ,not sure where to put in this year.We were going way north to Swift River on the Yukon BC border when we didn't get a draw ,but the river was crowded with jet boats last time...looking for a float trip,if possable.I'd even do a fly in if I knew where to go...not looking for 'trophy' animals ,a nice 3-4 year old bull would be just fine

I'm just sticking to the regular season this year
I think I will have my hand full just going after my first Roosevelt elk on Haida Gwaii
