Just what the title says, what are your opinions?
LMT/SPIKES/RRA/DD/BCM doesn't matter....What ever you prefer/Does it make a difference?
The only difference is the bolt - whether you really want to have proofed and MPed bolt.
And half of the brands out there are probably just CMT BGC (or made of CMT components) anyways.

What about Spike's Nickel Boron bolt?
I own one.
While many people seem to think they're all about the same, the truth is that there are a lot of small differences (company to company).
We sell LMT, Spikes and RRA... used to sell DD as well.
If it was my gun I'd choose the LMT Bolt Carrier Group. They are NOT just like everyone else's... they may visually look the same to the average user but there are differences and those differences make the product more reliable and in many cases last longer.
Mark
BCM, like Colt and LMT test every bolt HPT and MPI. My BCM bolt is still in the shrink wrap plastic bag and you can see brass on the face of the bolt. LMT with MIM gas keys, no thanks I`ll stick with colt and bcm.
Personal preference Mark, you like LMT and you also sell it. LMT is just as good as the others. I prefer colt and BCM which do not MIM.

Nickel Boron === Fail Zero bolt
Personally, I like them because i shoot A LOT OF ROUNDS... I mean, I burn though parts & barrels like you wouldn't believe... And a FZ bolt/bcg is much easier to clean.
I find that the FZ coating on the bolt, bcg, and the upper tend to more than double the life time they survive (Things like ejectors, extractors, and firing pins of course still need replacing from time to time). They also require no lube.
As much as I like FZ coated bolts... They can cause a lot of issues & take along time to break in.
In anycase, I normally run & recommend DD & LMT bolts/bcg's. They tend to last longer than others and IMHO they run smoother.
That said, If your going to shoot less than 1k rounds though it a year... The BCG is (IMHO) not very important. Your less likely to notice a difference when compared to someone who often goes through twice that in a weekend.
Yeah I went an ordered another one for my Noveske, should have just got an LMT from Questar....always good to try different brands..
