Bcg won’t fit upper!!! Update

Hi,

I just bought a used diameco c8 upper with a brand new Colt Canada bcg.
The bcg won’t insert in the upper.

When I try my colt usa bcg it fit without issue.

It’s seems that the carrier is to large.


If a put the CC bcg in my colt 6920. It’s fit but really tight.

Someone experienced this same problem?

The store will exchange my Bcg but i want to be shure that I am not missing something.

Bolt/cam pin fully forward?
 
It’s look like the gas key area is too large or out of spec.
When I insert the carrier in reverse position, it will insert to the gas key area and stop.
 
That why a made this thread. Colt Canada are top quality.
Maybe is the upper which is not in spec.

I will try with my friend upper tomorrow.
 
Update
The bcg was out of spec.
I just received a new one and it fit without problem!

Nordic marksman confirms that the bcg was defective.
Very good customer service by Brad and Cathy by the way!
 
Interesting indeed, my CC BCG that feels a little tighter was also bought from Nordic, maybe I should give them a call as well.
