Is there a consensus yet, generally speaking, on what's causing the FTF on the 102''s? My gas rings lasted exactly 3 rounds from new with properly feeding mine. I've replace my rings with the thank you package gas rings I got from SFRC and haven't had a chance to try it out again. Has to be a reason the first ones went so quick though so I quite frankly don't have much faith in these ones.....
I was thinking I'd do a Brownell's order but want to make sure I get all I need at once. Just gas rings, or is it an overgassing issue so I need an adjustable gas block? Different buffer spring? And which rings if I order those?
TIA

your factory bolt carrier is ripping them to shreds, most likely, get a new bolt carrier from bcl. The new ones are more polished. Or try your luck by buying an aftermarket one and hope it fits, mine did not.
You are welcomed.

Get yourself a JP Enterprises low mass BCG, and a SLR adjustable .875 gas block, mid length gas tube. That should work for you. That's exactly what I have in mine and it works perfectly

I am indeed a Gen2, ser no. In the 200's. Rounds jam on the feed ramps with the bolt smacking them pretty good using 5 different mags. Federal GMM so it shouldn't be a soft tip issue. I haven't looked inside the bolt carrier to see what it looks like but I guess I should.

1st Take the entire rifle apart.
2nd discard everything except the Upper and Lower
3rd Rebuilt it using quality components of your choice

This is the best advice I can give. ;) This is my pile of crap I discarded.
