BCL 102 Complaints/Whining Thread

Complain and whine in here so we don’t get good threads locked.

I Was so excited for the second preorder and now that the handguard is proprietary, I’m kinda mad and all I can think about is how it’s gonna be a pain to get rid of the anti rotation tabs.

I don't think it will be that easy to remove the top tab. If you blow the picture up, it looks like the top rail on the receiver extends and possibly overlaps the upper rail on the handguard at an angle (could be wrong).

I doubt that any handguard offered out there will fit the all new BCL 102.

I bet the upper receiver and handguard will integrated on the gen 3 102's....
 
So talk to some fore end manufacturers and get a compatible one built, there seems to be enough interest. Or how about this? get some sort of bushing made up that will adapt to it and run a slightly shorter fore end. I myself was waiting for mine to show up before doing anything short of a hand grip and trigger change. The first gen I handled last fall felt fine to me, but maybe I don't know ####.
 
The "pay full price up front" scheme is the reason I won't buy one. Until they start charging a reasonable fee to secure an order they can find someone else to scam. Especially when we don't even know what the finished product we're shelling out for is going to be. Take your money and then deliver something different. Like WTF is that??!!!

I'm super pissed. I paid 350$ US plus customs stabbing fee to get a righteous SLR handguard BECAUSE they ####ing fit the first ones.

Now I'm going to get gouged righteously selling it. It isn't even out of the box.

F me. I'm super pissed. I mean, I have sunk a LOT of money into this. Now what?

So much for my adjustable gas block being easily adjustable.

These pricks went too far. I paid for a BCL like the first batch.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to dump my BCL and my 2500$ of accessories for a massive loss because of these tits.

could you not mill the extension flush like a normal receiver?
 
Too bad they didn't change it to a monolithic upper, that would have been sweet!!! :ang3

Nothing an F'n grinder can't take care of, it's just an NEA after all, not like you can lower the resale value. :stirthepot2:

Monolithic upper, funny thing, I was just mentioning that to the wife, while I was talking about all the #####in going on here. I also mentioned the fact that my XCR-m was way more nose heavy than the BCL I handled last fall and I had no problem shooting it off hand.

Sure could, but you likely void that lifetime warranty after you cut through the paint coating, anodizing and then remove aluminum.

Dont worry the fanboys will say it your fault since they cant probbably afford real gear and think a 1800$ is expensive.... LoL

Those are the same dudes that drive minivans and need to asks their wifes what they are allowed to spend... LOL

It's an NEA/BCL, what are the chances you'll need to use the warranty anyway. Pretty slim.

Get bioched at if they want to spend $20 on a box of ammo and go to the range for a couple hours. Too many beta-males out there that will do anything for a woman as long as they think there is a chance they might get a piece of ass.
I have friends like that, their wives almost implode when I tell them how much one of my Nightforce scopes cost or how much I spend on rifles and ammo a year. I was just talking to a guy today about how much money I'd have if I didn't like guns but then I realized it's not the guns that are expensive it's having a wife that keeps you broke.
My wife knows better than to try to tell me how to spend my money as long as the bills get paid first and I'm not using credit to buy toys.

Yup, I almost bought one but decided to skip it since the cost of the upper would cover the cost of the entire build using standard parts.

Can't remember which thread it's in since there are so many BCL threads but someone posted pics that I think they got from Facebook or some other professional place a firearms company puts all their new information that isn't worthy of their actual web page.

Lol sorry man not much sympathy for buying parts for something that doesn't exist...... why would anyone pay full pop for a preorder? You know they are using your money to build the rifle and then pocket the leftovers right?

I do get get one bit the rush to buy something in this country just because it's non restricted? Companies will continue to bend you over if you keep giving them your money.
