I ordered one through as tek Armouries. Btw I can't find the measurement for the clearance under the SLR helix rail. I'm trying to buy a superlative arms adjustable gasblock and I want to be sure it will fit under the handguard.

Does anyone know how much room there is between barrel and handguard?

I'm having one hell of a time getting my SLR helix on my BCL. It seems like the barrel nut has the right thread but is just to say too small (in diameter) to thread fully onto the receiver. It stretches the barrel nut. You can see it bulge. Ordered from ##### Armouries I called SLR, they can't send me a barrel nut because I'm in Canada. So wtf do I do.

Yea it wont work with a DPMS barrel nut , thats probably what your handguard shipped with. When you could order directly from SLR you could pick ether a DPMS or armalite nut .. Now they dont seem to ship here anymore cause customs gave them crap !! Do you know anyone in the US that you could ship the nut to? BCL was stupid for making a DPMShigh receiver with armilite threads .

indeed you got the model that comes with the DPMS nut...

If you have a look at the SLR website, there's a choice of nuts:

When I got mine off their website, I chose the "AR10" nut, and it worked no issues at all.

Why the fk did bcl go for an armalite thread, we'll never know
