Bcl 102 magpul prs Gen 3 question

So I need some help. I’ve purchased a magpul prs Gen 3 for my bcl 102. But it looks like it’s about a half inch too short. Does anyone have any input on how to get it to fit? I’m kinda new so constructive advise would be a bigger help than trolling.

You may need to install a shorter receiver extension or trim it. For some reason, NEA/BCL like theirs a little longer. But do confirm you have ordered the AR10 version and not the AR15 version of the PRS.

GEN 3 PRS is for both AR10 and AR15 only the previous generations had differences. Also, you will have to file down the 6 position slots, the tube is about the length of a rifle length tube but has the 6 position rail on it which gets in the way of the locking screw.

I buzzed a 1/4" off the back end of the tube, worked like a hot dam. My PRS gen 3 fit on great after that.

Is the back end of the tube solid metal? If so then I am assuming then a little trim and buffing are all that is required.
