BCL 102 Review!!

Only issue with this rifle and is common on a few other modern black rifles is there's no forward assist or charging handle to aid in clearing a jam!

they do have a charging handle... how else would you pull the bolt back??

but you are correct in them not having a forward assist.

Ummm there is no forward assist yes but that doesn't help clearing malfunction, just seating the bolt. And there is a standard charging handle. I see no issue there

Another huge drawback for me is its also missing the whirlygig that helps even out the powder charge in hand loads making for more accurate shots. I thought this was now standard in most high end modern black rifles....
Way to drop the ball again BCL.

pretty much a gen1 dpms, the gen2 dpms (and sig716) are built a little different.

the bcl is compatible with sr25, lmt and other mainstream ar10 parts

Not in the AR world. The AR15 is a scaled down AR10 thus if they made the BCL102 scaled down to chamber .223 they have essentially made an AR 15 thus it becomes restricted by default. BCL has indicated they will be making them in .300mag and I think 338LM. They do have a non restricted model in .223 in development but it isn't the BCL102 scaled down.

Curious to see how this stacks up against a Springfield M1A.

I’m torn between the 102 and swapping the parts out with an M1A in a Blackfeather stock in terms of reliability and accuracy.
