BCL 102 stripped receiver set thread

^^It's DPMS threading. So without adaptation or another upper; NO. 102 is Armalite threads with DPMS extension....
There is a Canadian manufacturer who sells 7075 uppers with DPMS/DPMS available. Significantly cheaper than BCL uppers were sold for.

Go to the manufacturers website. Look at their barrel nuts.

Ok thanks. I know what manufacturer you are referring to, I just didn't know there was a simple solution to make them compatible. I'm becoming convinced more and more to take the plunge and get a 102

When I ordered a raw upper from them they said they were very soon to be offering the collars for public sale as well. I just machined my own, pretty straightforward.

Well I just took the plunge, but I’m thinking , I may have bit off more than I can chew... lol
So far I’ve got a geissele trigger,and am currently looking into a CA,CFW 20 inch barrel.

I would assume that due to the illogical logic of our firearms classifying experts, it would be a huge NO NO to simply enlarge the takedown pin holes in the lower receiver to accept the large pins?

Haven't finished my extra upper build. Everything I've tried fits/functions as it should yes. I just did it for the 7075 aspect.

I spoke to said upper manufacturer and was told they aren't for public consumption yet so you guys must have gotten lucky and got some to demo.
