BCL 102 Thoughts recieved My OG Saturday

IE: Replacement pins won't fit the BCL BCG.

Also of note, the BCL firing pin has a spring, the Brownells does not. You cannot (that I have tried and succeeded at) get an aftermarket DPMS firing pin to function in the BCL BCG.

I'm running a Fulton NiB-X bolt and Fulton reduced tip firing pin in the BCL BCG and it function tests fine. Paired with the FA Criterion lightweight barrel.

The spring that came in my BCL BCG works with the Fulton pin, call me paranoid but I don't want a free floated firing pin in a gun that slams the bolt home this hard.

Edit: I've also got a first run BCL102, your mileage may vary. My BCG looked fine, definitely no reason to change it and the machining where the gas rings actually stroke is good. It looks better than some DPMS brand BCG's I've seen.

Also of note, the BCL BCG uses a cotter as the firing pin retaining pin that is not spec to hole size for replacement DPMS style firing pin retaining pins.

Where I stand now is Brownells bolt in a BCL BCG with Criterion bbl.

I'll need to try other brand BCG's

I think BCL copied the ArmaLite BCG..... It is built with all the things you mention.

Well son of a B i ordered from Brownells just read the replies looks like it wont work

i dont know what youve been reading, but the bcg from brownells works with the bcl barrel.

it probably will work fine, just get a set of go nogo gauges

Seems that the brownells one will work with the factory barrel. With some aftermarket barrels the new brownells complete bcg/ bolt will not work, but the brownells bolt fits and works in the bcl carrier.
I don't have either on hand. Just waiting on Canada post for both
