Noone will argue that SOME NEA102 rifles work.
That's EXACTLY the problem. Zero consistency in product and spotty inconsistent warranty policies.
If I buy a rifle new I want a rifle not a dice toss and f**king nightmare headache.
Same applies to the WK180c and all the dodgey inconsistent Canadian junk coming out of recent.
Forget it...

OMG here we go yet again....

1. I like mine and have had no problems

2. At least some of the people on the I hate BCL102 bandwagon have never actually owned or shot one

3. Current prices on the EE are low for what you get IMHO

So.....what's your point brother? That you played NEA lottery and didnt roll snake eyes?

You're missing the point entirely. The reason it's a s**t deal is exactly because YOU paid the same as HIM except you're enjoying a rifle that is holding together for now and he got shipped a ####ing headache.

That's exactly the problem. Zero consistency and theres plenty of well documented examples of how far down the rabbit hole they can go with the inconsistency.

Put it this way, the lure of the NEA 102 was pulling on me pretty strong too. I didn't roll the dice because I could be you right now or I could be him. Plus I got to see first hand how spotty and finicky one was right out of the box.

And it doesn't matter how you want to paint that, the bottom line is that it's a spotty company putting out spotty inconsistent product with varying warranty results.
