BCL .223 Badger. Anyone hear any rumors?

Only thing I heard is there will no stripped receiver sets :-( and its piston driven  . ive seen the pictures and they look sweet and would be a great base rifle for a build.

The only reason I would buy the BCL ever again is if the MVs gets a R status ! So hopefully ATRS get the MVs out fast so we can start building NR AR-15's

Piston driven AR's suck donkey balls. Its just my opinion. So I hope no one's gets their panties in a bunch.

I think they are expecting the FRT soon, but are keeping this one closer to the chest after what happened with the BCL-102 (incessant whining).

Nah dude, it's a fact.

NEA/BCL can't manufacture a functional and reliable version of a 70 year old design that's been working reliably for over 70 years. Every single AR-15 problem has been worked out over 60 years ago.

We're all going to be long dead before NEA/BCL figues a piston design out.

If they dont make it a propriatory design and use an AR barrel, its pretty simple to swap it for a DI setup. If this comes in as NR, I'll pull a DILLIGAF: i'll strip the upper and build it with quality parts and throw everything else in the part bin.

Thats IF they have some compatibility with current design parts

We're not releasing any info on the Badger at this time. We want to get caught up on BCL102 production first...plus we're hoping to have a bunch ready for shipment when the release is made.

Good to hear Ryan, the pre-order drama isn't worth it.

I'll probably pick one up at some point once they are available (assuming NR status).

BCL15 upper/lower w/handguard is priced at 400$. Lets say they come out with similar pricing for and NR Badger556, that would be perfect.

According to an old post on another forum.

Black Creek Labs. ( @blackcreeklaboratories )
An old NEA15 carbine. BCL has replaced the NEA carbine line with the BCL Badger, a piston based AR set to be released at the IWA outdoor show in March 2018. .

So the classification will be Restricted as a variant.
