BCL MRX Bison 5.56 Nato/.300BLK 20 Round Bolt Action Magazine

They ever coming out with a 7.62x39 version?

Fair question, should be easy for someone connected and in the know to answer.
I seem to recall BCL asking people to direct questions like this to their distributor who would then ask BCL..... so your in the ball park!

They list them as being chambered for 556NATO, 300 BLK, 7.62X39. Have then never been available in 7.62 X 39?

I have not been following them much as the look of the gun reminds me of cars from the 80's..... lacking smooth lines and style to my eye.

Don't see it happening.

They produce the rifles in x39 and they work great with LAR mags. It's too bad they didn't come out with a proprietary 20rounders for those as well, but at least there are options...

INTRODUCING THE MRX MAG
The MRX Bison is the only rifle in the world that feeds from both a proprietary 20 round bolt action magazine and an AR15 magazine. The ability to function with any AR15 magazine gives the user an almost infinite number of options for magazine brands, capacity, material and style. Alternatively, “The MRX MAG” gives the user a 20 round capacity in a magazine that is specficially designed for the MRX Supershort Action and will not fit or function in an AR15 or any other semi-auto
rifle.

The MRX MAG is a double stacked, straight magazine made from a proprietary blend of polymer. The MRX MAG has extended length feed lips and a no-tilt follower design that allows ultra smooth and reliable feeding. The MRX MAG uses “follower stop ledges” which keeps the follower from topping out, which allows the MRX Supershort bolt to be manually pushed forward when the magazine is empty and still in the rifle, which is not possible with an AR15 magazine.

Details:
  • Made of high strength polymer
  • High Strength stainless steel spring
  • No tilt follower design with stop ledges that prevent the follower from topping out
  • 20 round capacity allows the magazine body to be a straight design without bullet binding
  • Mag body shape will not allow it to fit into an AR15, but will allow for a sturdy, tight fit in the MRX Bison and MRX Jackal

They work like a charm in my Ruger American Ranch with minor modifications to the magwell but still accepts the standard mags for the American Ranch rifle. Sold my BCL ages ago but picked up some spare mags to keep for my Ranch rifle setup!
