Wow, canadian made, so no importation…!!! When do you plan on being ready to ship them?

A bonus for domestic manufacturing that's not subject to the importation ban.

Right? BCL Coyote rifle comes out 2 weeks before the OIC, now this pistol comes out right before a pistol ban...

Sucks that this was in the works for quite awhile. The import ban really solidified the market here in Canada.

One piece integrated grip? Rubberized? I hate rubberized grips...

When I held it at Taccom it was just an aluminum frame no rubber. Also the model I held looks different than the one on the pictured on their website.

I was really excited but yeah, the more I read, the more I'm meh :/

Not pissing on the parade, just sharing my thoughts/potential customer impression. It's great to see Canadian design/made? stuff, but worst timing, lack infos, no time for feedback and field test...

If it was Girsan ish or even Canik priced, might be worth taking a the chance but if the price stated above is right, I'd be more tempted to go grab one of the price gouging but proven options on EE...

BCL is going to take on Glock level of reliability.......I am rightfully skeptical.

I see comments are already being deleted rapidly in other threads regarding this pistol, honesty is not permitted huh?

$1200 for a glock clone pre-order that probably lacks quality control like every single canadian firearms manufacturer. And it seems like they are just pricing themselves out of the market. $1200 for a glock clone made in Canada. Seems like a bad joke at that price point.

metal frame is going to make for a more expensive pistol, so price point isn't the worst. of course a sellers market so price will be the price. and timing of the release is pretty good imho - no pistols available right now due to import ban - that's when i would want to bring a canadian-made product to market. and glock will be less likely to crawl up there arse for any copyright infringement as it's a market they can no longer sell to.

as a racer the metal frame is good - more weight less flip (as are the slide cuts - less weight less flip). and who doesn't want to be a racer right now, what with the exemption in the freeze for 'elite level competition'. not that i'm elite but nobody is born elite so there has to be an allowance for grass-roots competition.

but don't let that stop y'all from whining about it. any idea if it will take glock triggers?

Yes Sir! It will take Glock triggers.

From my chat with Rob at Taccom, glock 19 gen 3 parts compatibility off the shelf.
