BCL102 Range Review, SECOND RANGE TRIP POST 123!!!

anyone know if we should be concerned about burn rate for powders for reloading? i have a garand in 308 and i use 4895/4064 IMR and i have varget as well.

Any of my handloads that I've worked up for my M-305 and M1 Garand in 7.62 NATO have worked fine in both my SR-25 and my LMT MWS.

You should always be concerned with burn rates for every auto loader.
That being said, new rifles are much less sensitive than the Garand, self regulating gas system and DI instead of op rod and you don't have to worry much about damaging the rifle any more. Any of the powders you listed should be fine with this rifle. I would however keep your projectiles to 180gr or less. Don't load for it like it's a long range bolt action and you'll probably have good success.

Good luck

Now just to be clear there were some 3 shot sub moa / .5 moa groups but I did 5 shots and 10 shots.... you guys be the judge. Hot barrel too.
And my scope was messed up big time. Vortex head office is only 3 min away from me and they were shocked it even shot that well.
They are replacing it at no charge.

What is a scope malfunction?

Match handloads? Were they developed for the IUR or something else?

Both turrets were loose to the point they fell off in his hand.
I'd say a major malfunction. But they keep their word free replacement !
Just wasn't in stock so I have to wait a week

Ha Ha... BCL is gonna claim their rifle is so accurate now that you don't even need a working scope Lol...

Seriously though I can't wait to get mine. These are showing real potential.

Yet another reason to stay away from Vortex. Unfortunately I have two of them, I might send one in for repairs but not sure it's worth it for a overly stiff magnification ring. I'll never spend money on one again though, I've owned three and that's three too many for me. Just too many people having to use the awesome warranty.

Can't wait for more calibers to come !!
Let's face it there are way more accurate ones out there.
I'm very impressed at the moment for a new gun and a semi to do this.

More accurate calibers? I assume you mean more flat shooting?
