BCL102 Range Review, SECOND RANGE TRIP POST 123!!!

I'd like to use this as an excuse to buy a 3D printer but I still don't think the wife will be very happy with me if I do. Lol

When is someone going to run some premium ammo through their rifle and actually shoot off a solid rest to show what these are really capable of? So far it's been junk ammo or excuses about it being too fun so they shot fast not really trying. So far all I've seen is meh, decent accuracy for a rack grade rifle but nothing great other than one 10 round group with some handloads that looks like it started off with a lot of promise then started stringing as it warmed up.

Well if I ever get my bloody rifle this is my plan, although I am going to be shooting handloads of 150, 165, and 180gr. I am going to try to shoot hirtenburger and Norc ammo too and see what happens as I have managed to get a good group with norc in a different rifle once which really surprised me.

I really hope for my sanity that TSE receives their shipment today.

The have been a few consistent results 1.5 - 1moa is the better of the results so far. I will show more results when I get to the range again but I assume I will be in the 1.5moa range and that is about the extent of my skill with this gun and sight.

You'd better be posting some videos to your YouTube channel when you do get it. :)

That's the plan, but they will be in parts now and may take some time to get up. If I had gotten the rifle before the end of August I would have had tons of time to make a detailed review, but now I am juggling a home purchase with an intensive school program so it will make it more difficult.

Oh, now I see, TSE is involved, no wonder you're having problems.

Hopefully when it shows up our schedules will align and you can come out and shoot at my private range, I have a couple types of factory fodder you can try and it will be a good excuse to do some shooting with my fancy M305 :)
I have a spare NF 3.5-15×50 in a QD PEPR mount you can borrow for load development while you're here if you need a good scope with decent mag for 100 yards.

I haven't seen anyone post anything that resembles consistent yet, I'm eagerly awaiting the report from your next range trip.

Haha sounds good! I had some stuff leave sfrc on the 24th and it is here today, so hopefully the rifles follow a similar time line :)

Lol, I had to bite my tongue, I really wanted to slam TSE but figured it wasn't worth risking the infraction :p

I added to my last post, not sure what you have planned for optics but...

I picked up a 3-12x40 on the EE which should suffice, but I wouldn't mind taking a peek through the nightforce to see what the glass is like!

I went into auto mode when reloading and only did the minimums for each bullet weight (d'oh!) so hopefully they work out haha

Finished off my 168 loads today, ranged from 1.599"(42.0) to 3.689"(42.5). Of the three types of bullets I've tried so far 42.0 has been the most accurate in all three. All with Varget. Gonna have to play around in that range a bit more.

Shot two factory loads today, 165 fusions went 4.5" for 10 rounds.
180 power points went 5.2" for 10 rounds.

Got my FDE in and wow!! looks better in person than in pics.
my timney trigger is ordered already thanks to mystic precision so cant wait to throw that in!
just put on my 2-8 duralyt to try out with my new nightforce ultralite unimount.
for first impressions rifle seems very nice and nicely built.
( but a tad on the heavy side these will be a lot nicer in the future with lighter barrels/carbon)
having said that I don't expect this to retain lots of heat should be able to blast away all day.

thanks! i'm defiantly going to look into a raptor charging handle as well. The FDE looks better in person than in the photos.
However I already talked to my cerekote guy, gonna be leaving the receiver FDE and do the parts/furniture all in Patriot brown.
Once I decide what grip and stock I want.
