BCL102 short stoking whit new barrel

If you measure the distance from the shoulder of the journal, to the far side of the gas port hole, then measure the distance from the far edge of the gas block, to the far side of the gas port hole, you might find a difference. My gas block was 0.050” shorter than the barrels port, causing the port to be blocked off.

You might be center, but you could be too far back.

after shooting when i remove the gas block there is a carbon ring the same size than the gas block hole going around the the barrel gas port, the barrel port is in the middle of that ring if the gas block was covering the port i would have think the carbon deposit would not be all around the barrel port... that thing is rely bugging me lol

My maple ridge barrel gas port was not drilled properly and allowed very little gas past. I had to drill it out to spec. I am sure you checked this already.
