This match will be held as a centrefire, PRS style match, that is designed to test competitors skill in improvised and challenging positions under a time limit. Unlike some of the other matches we hold, this is a beginner/intermediate friendly match and we encourage development as much as we encourage competitiveness! New shooters are allowed to be coached on the clock, spotted for and corrections called out. There will only be long rifle stages and no pistol/carbine specific stressors will be present.

We want to encourage new competitors, spectators and friends to come out to this match, so please feel free to ask any questions you may have either directly through Facebook or in the email link provided.

Whilst we generally follow the PRS and NRL rulebooks/guidelines, some rules have been altered and changed as we are not part of any governing body. For this year, we have eliminated the "Gas Gun" category and all competitors shooting semi-auto rifles (AR-15's, Stag 10's, M14/M305's, SKS', etc.) will compete in either Open or Tactical division based on caliber and speed restrictions as outlined blow.

There are NO MAGNUM CALIBERS allowed due to target longevity concerns.

The two divisions for this match are as follows:

Tactical: Any rifle chambered in .223 Rem/5.56 NATO or .308 Win/7.62 NATO that fires a projectile 77gr and under (.223/5.56) and 178 gr and under (.308/7.62). .223/5.56 has a speed limit of 3000 ft/s and 308/7.62 has a speed limit of 2800 ft/s. Any wildcat variant of either of these rounds is not permitted.

Open: Any rifle chambered in a non-magnum variant, .308 and under caliber. There is no projectile weight limit, but the speed limit is 3200 ft/s

Round count will be about 100 Max, but most competitors only fire 50-75 in the match :) Course of fire should be released this week or early next week.

Expect the squads to be scrambled soon too.
