There isn't really anything such as a set aside rifle.They pretty much all get used in ways that aren't good.
Keith's article is good for the most part but there are some advantages at higher levels to space guns.

I am shooting a Lewis & Machine Tool MRP with a 18" 1-7 twist Barrel &
4x ACOG with a BDC ....That does not match the ballistics of the 77gr bullet to good!:runaway:
I shot it last year too. This year I have been trying to get a better 200m zero , so I can put effective fire on those plates!:ar15::D

That's awesome news about the plates. Was wondering about too many teams not enought plates.
Four shooters out of ten were over 500 at the regional match, and another had equipment issues stopping him. Looking foreward to the big show
