It has been cancelled:eek:

It was cancelled because of political BS on the part of the BCRA, god forbid they be successful and get a pile of new members. The reason given was an out and out lie as well, I have forwarded my email to Bob to you as well Wayne calling him out on the BS. If you are gonna send a bulls**t email, the least you could do is not send it to the guy (me) who initiated the whole course in the first place.:bsFlag:

WTF is going on out there?

This is the message I got from the BCRA. It is an out and out lie but here it is.

The Service Rifle Coaching CCP Course has been cancelled on the 14-15
April. The main Instructor has a job commitment that weekend. Since there is
an interest in the coaching course, the BCRA Coaching Coordinator will
reschedule the Service Rifle CCP Coaching course to the 2008 spring with an
enhanced course.

The main instructor did not have a prior commitment because he and I were speaking from the get go. Somebody's pants are on fire :slap:

It's gonna take them a year to figure out how to spend the forecasted revenue on TR and the Bisley Boys.

Once again the bastard child of the bcra gets bent over...think warm thoughts now...

Ryan I would imagine that is what it will take and that is unfortunate. I guess they [BCRA] would rather cut off its nose to spite itself . The other thing is Boycott there matches that hurts them in the pocket book

Savage, Longshot and juliet-lima:

There is a reason that the OSA have formed or morphed away from the ORA and all of you know it first hand NOW!! Bend over (BOHICA).... my friends. Savage, just wait until the military in BC (1 Brigade) realizes that there ain't a use for any BCRA input towards the current Op Tempo. Just like we are experiencing it here in Ontario. Many of the current leaders in the ORA have NO contact whatsoever with the uniforms unlike us Service Rifle organizers who host the matches FOR the many units in Eastern Ontario like we do in the OSA. These leaders of the PRA's don't have the pulse on the military sentiments anymore, nor do they have much influence.

You guys out west (in the BCRA) are catching on....

I always thought there was an under current of this in the BCRA.Old boys club.Funding from any and all matches going to send target shooters only to Bisley and around the world. Not even a whiff of help to send anyone to Ottawa for CFSAC.Now I guess its all laid out before us for everyone to see.

Wayne your right.Pocketbook hurts them.Unfortunately it hurts us too as they are the only game in town for service rifle.I'm not liking my options.

Ryan I agree hurting them hurts you however if you really want to upset the apple cart try and get more involved in the politics of the BCRA work from the inside .Remember many of the BCRA TR members are getting up in years and as result there numbers are declining and they are hard pressed to draw new members into there organization .The APRA Service Rifle generates our own funds ie club dues and match fees and also have access to the APRA pool funds for the real large ticket items as well. We are getting things done to improve service rifle it has been a battle with the TR guys .They finnaly submitted to our request of handing over 1 of there 2 Governor General's medals so that we could award 1 at our Provincial Championship match, plus the current President of the APRA has connections to the DND . Ryan I know it sucks but hang in there they cant live forever . What ever you do we APRA/CSRA will support your new organization

Wayne has hit the nail on the head on the topic of making changes to your PRA's, you sort of have to go to the AGM. As far as the service rifle class goes, do you feel that you have posted the complete story? Are there any details that are significant, but have been omitted?

Well I am not ready to give up on the BCRA yet...I do think that a a resistance movement should form outside the BCRA and once united with a goal we all need to attend the AGM and force change enmass... my personal immediate goal would be to see 2 four man teams sponsored to the Nationals.

You don't need a group...if you wait for a group it will never happen. Why not show up to the AGM alone or with one other person? In the room of 40 people, there were 4 Gunnutz....very sad for how much gripping happens here on Nutz about how the BCRA is run. The only way to make change is to stand up and put the effort in to get it done.
