OK FOLKS I would like to revisit this for a few moments....

There would appear to be massive mis-interpretation of the facts out there....

I would invite one and all to read this,

Our guns, the BD-38 & the BD-3008 were never called in for review or re-classification....
The above firearms were removed from the FRT by the RCMP because of a challenge which was put forth by an individual in the mid west who claimed that his submitted guns had been rejected unfairly by the RCMP and that they were no different than Marstars guns.... If his were not acceptable, Marstar's should not be acceptable either....

PLEASE understand, we could not care less what this individual may or may not think of Marstar, that was NOT the point of my original post, we had received numerous e mail and telephone calls by concerned owners.... I simply wanted to make all owners of these firearms, whether bought from us or not, aware that such a movement was afoot and that should they be reclassified they should know the reason....

I hope I have helped clear up any misunderstanding....
John

is there any latest news concerning their classification BD 3008 & BD38? AS AN OWNER OF ONE OF THESE WHAT ARE MY OPTIONS SHOULD THEY BECOME PROHIBITED? THANK YOU

That is my question as well? What are our options? Do I need to be concerned about SSD version of the MKB42(H)?

It has an open bolt as well.

"I fail to see any good in that the BD38 & BD3008 are now in limbo"
I could not agree more wth you.... I don't see any good in this situation either, but as I said, I simply wanted to keep the owners advised as to why they find themselves in the current situation....

"Just look at the T-97 & what happened to the ones that were registered restricted in private hands "

Please, lets not confuse apples and oranges, the two cases are completely different.... in one case the authorities alledge CA in the case of the BDs they are newly manufactured SA firearms....

AGENT CQ;
We are not talking about open bolt gas operated, striker fired guns.... We are discussing open bolt blow back firearms.... Yours are not even considered....

You are right . I was using it as a comparison of what the options are for owners of any firearm that the RCMP for what ever reason decide to reclassify as prohibited

Are you sure about this ?
