Bd-38 & bd-3008

has anyone here had their firearm go from restricted to prohibited? what happened,were you allowed to keep it or were you forced to give it up? i would like to know in laymans terms the current policy.

T-97 owners were notified to turn them in for destruction.
Only other option was to file a appeal with the court

Yes, there is an ongoing court case... Have a look at Canada Ammo's forum, you can buy a T97 shirt to support the fight... (I did)

Personally, I have faith that the BD 38s and BD 3008s have a better chance of not being reclassified.

I know,but where does it end.this way as i am sure you all know, they will widdle away all our guns one at a time with each reclassification.i have been an infantryman in our army since 1985,busting my ass in ####ty places,trying to bring democracy to people only to come home and see our freedoms/rights being slowly eroded away. i did not join up to see our Country pimped out by gun grabbing lieberals. i am thoroughly,utterly disgusted by our leaders,and at ourselves for allowing this to happen.it has to stop!

The RCMP lab seems to be so incompetent, those people should be made responsible and removed from their jobs.

I agree 100%. I dont understand why EVERYONE seems to gang up on him.

RCMP firearm lab guys are IDIOTS (yes, im aware that they might be reading this... they should...). There are dozens examples to prove this.
Blaming Mick for re-classifying bd38/3008 is just retarded.

Is he getting his parts kits from questionable sources? Sure.. I just dont see what that has to to with anything.

As far as i know, he was actually doing a big favor to the firearms community selling guns that were not available from any other sources. Overpriced? Sure, but nobody is forcing you to buy them.

Was he rightfully pissed off when RCMP did their thing yet again and decided to classify a certain gun based on "facts" pulled out of their asses? You bet.
There are literally 100's of guns that are classified prohibited by RCMP based on NOTHING. You can bash him all you want (why, i dont know..), but the idiots running the RCMP firearms lab are the only ones to blame.

Oh, and whats the point in banning him? He'll come back anyway, so why bother. He's been banned dozens of times and he keeps coming back. If anything, it just makes the mods look stupid.

the batf wont even allow them to be imported to american maket

I'm sorry to report that my crystal ball did not provide this information in advance, perhaps you might give me the brand name of you crystal ball manufacture so I might purchase one....

As if we go out and look for products that we know will sooner or later be banned, just to annoy our customers....??
