BD38 Reclassified! Now Prohibited!

Words I rarely hear my wife say......I think it would kill her to say it.

But back to Marstar, I somehow doubt they would risk a very long standing and valuable business selling parts for prohibited guns to just anybody who mailed him money, despite what any of the armchair internet lawyers say.

Anyway, this thread is getting very long and starting to meander. Until the CSSA has a chance to talk with the minister, and perhaps give him some input to the whole situation, I believe all else is conjecture.

Quite correct. Just wanted to bring attention to other owners of the BD38 with this thread what has happened with classification. It never hurts to educate others as well.

I agree. There is no point in creating tinfoil, just for tinfoils sake... But it does get ones ire up when a guy sees that his expensive gun may end up in the chop saw... :(

Really hope to hear from the CSSA/NFA soon... like, before the registered letter comes in the mail... :D

But isn't conjecture a cornerstone of the forum?

I believe Greentips actually put it in the CGN rules...

Perhaps I shall edit the title of this thread to something a little less... erm... mad?

Might be worth asking the administration if a BD38/3008 subforum could be set up, accessible only to those who apply and own one of these guns.
The folks most directly affected could keep each other informed, without having to wade through specualtion, gossip and pointless chest thumping.

They did do that for the T97 folks too didn't they? It's too bad that ALL owners of BD38's/BD3008's aren't on CGN though...

I'm betting many a guy might be getting a letter in the mail with no knowledge of the classification change, and going, "WTF!?!?!?!"...

That would be a great idea, for BD38 / BD3008 owners. As we could work together on this very grave situation, that we are facing. I'm a little curious if there are any other female owners of a BD38, besides me?
