BDL box in ADL

Has anyone done the BDL to ADL conversion and left the box alone? I'm thinking a little gasket sealant at the back of the box and mag well juncture to hold things together would work nicely.

I called Remington directly for an ADL box and the little set screw. If I remember right it was pretty cheap, $10-20 for everything.
