There’s much better and easier solutions for preventing such a mishap from happening, but I think the OP has suffered enough

Man, that tree really pulled a reverse UNO card on you. One second you’re clearing the trail, next second you’re auditioning for a Skeletor cosplay. Hope they get your nose straightened out on the 30th — otherwise you’ll always have a built-in weather vane.

I had the right side of my face broken in a fist fight man it was sore for a long time and I could push it in and out and out and it would make a squeaky hinge noise .
Never had it looked at .

Well had my nose adjusted today ,
Not really surgery , they just froze around nose area , then pushed on one side , I heard and felt cracking of the cartilage, then he said can you breathe , felt the same to me for breathing,
I think he was just learning cause he kept going and asking his colleagues, actually, another guy came in and instructed him how to push on the nose properly , which was better because he was just hurting me and not getting anything moved in place
Got a brace over top of my nose now , so we’ll see what it looks like in couple of weeks ,
Talked with my wife and couple people , apparently they dont figure the nose job will get me winning any beauty contest lol.
I also noticed this morning that I had a big bruise on my right arm , so that must have took part of the hit from the branch also , which may have helped , so it was not worse?
