Nothin like a sharp knife. I nick myself ! Just about everytime I clean or skin an animal. Glad to here you missed the tendons. Good daughter you have there.

A neighbour confided in me his story. He skinned his game with an exacto knife, and cut his hand while deep inside the deer. He could not see that the blood in the deer was really his own. Only when he started seeing stars did he try to stand up and get out of the bush. Luckily he was on his own land, and a short walk from his house. The doc said he had another 10 minutes of bleeding, and then it would have been lights out for good.

Youch.
