Be carefull where you shop for ammo!!!

The Chinese have been purchasing metal (Tin, lead, brass, steel, iron, copper...) from all over the world. This has resulted in sky-high market prices for metals.

Ammo is unfortunately made from metals... the results of which are obvious on the store shelves.

Almost every base metal has the same graph............

the shop in abbotsford used to have bricks of .22 american eagle for 15.99. then they went to 18.99. now they're at 29.99!! that's almost what i pay for my 7mm Remington CoreLokt at Crappy Tire. don't even ask what the shop's prices on other ammo are

yea, i found hubs to have higher prices then chwk dart

they're a great shop, don't get me wrong. awesome service, and good prices on most hunting and fishing gear. but their gun and ammo prices are out to lunch. they had an H&R Pardner 20 guage priced at 175 bucks. i could have it shipped from wholesale for 130. i pay $33.60/box of Remington CoreLokt at CT, and hub is asking almost 50 bucks. i buy all of my fishing gear there, as well as archery stuff and misc gun stuff, and i'm more than happy to pay a couple bucks more because of the great service. but there's no way i'm paying 15 to 80 bucks extra on ammo and guns.
