Anyone know where you can get bean bags (square, rectangle or stabilized tail) in the GVRD//lower mainland? Prefer not to have to order and have 'em shipped, would like to pick up a half-dozen or so.

You were just watching 'Rundown' on Movie central with The Rock wern't you?

Yah I'd like some Bean bag rnds also. :D

Actually, I always thought the first round to be fired (in home defense shottie) should be a bean-bag...boom...thwack..."Stay down, keep your hands there, the next one is a slug and will rip you open from throat to your sack..."....boom...

Cool!
Schreckpatronen are allot of fun.

Dang things are expensive... First thing I'd do with the bean bag shells would be to take one apart, figure out the components, and reload my own. Same with the Rubber slugs and buckshot.

Hmm I can't see why not, but one would have to research what type of rubber they are using...might have to be vulcanized.

I wonder if the Rubber pellets used under Astro turf would work?
I'm sure out there there must be chap buckets of this stuff...just have to find the right type.

I once had some industrial mix'n pour urethane rubber that could be easily cast into mold blocks.
You'd just have to coat the mold's insides with their special release agent (or vaseline) and I'm pretty sure they would do fine.
PP.

You gonna gum up that new gun of yours already, Calum?

I can't see a problem with this since the projectile would still be in the wad until it leaves the barrel therre would be no direct contact. Would there ???

Oh don't worry I was hoping someone else would try it.
I'm still at the 'wipe every fingeprint off of her parkerized finish' stage.

Hmmm....hockey pucks are vulcanized.....pick up a couple of old pucks and a hole saw or plug cutter and load yer own!

I thought of that, but isn't there a Canadian law against cutting up hockey pucks?

I'm not sure, but I'd say off the top of my head that it would be a bad idea to use with a Choke....that's an awefull lot of pressure to get corked up.

And Rubber is used in Valves, water pistons, and o-rings for it's ability to plug things up... Just my guess of course. 8)
