Any truth to this?

Uzkon went bankrupt abot 5 years ago. Tone of issues with there bolts on pump guns
When TWI whent under I saw prob 8 or 9 pallets of defective uzcon guns heading for the crusher.

Those drums have never been imported I to Canada
If your talking about Lockhart then that would not surprise

I have the Bear Arms one you have pictured. Bought it about a month ago.

The guy responding to the video says that while the hammer does engage, the firing pin does not. That suggests that you can engage the trigger but not the firing pin unless the bolt is locked. TFB tried this with the SAP-6 and couldn't get it to fire a round out of battery.
