To be released down south this year... Does anyone in Canada deal their products? The options for a 10mm PCC are very thin and this one looks decent.



There are better photos out there I'm sure... MSRP for the most expensive model is $599USD so it could be somewhat reasonable if/when it made it here.

It has never been cheap. I reload for a pretty reasonable cost.

can someone school me on 10mm vs 9mm

Obviously it will have more power but how much more?
What extra can it do that 9mm can't.

More choice is ALWAYS better but what do i get for adding a new caliber to the stable

You get 80-100+% more muzzle energy. It's debatable but I consider it slightly more powerful than .357 Magnum. Most factory ammunition available in Canada does not perform anywhere close to what the cartridge is capable of and is usually just a bit above what you would see from .40S&W.

From a 5" barrel I push a 180JHP to 1350fps, a 135 to 1550 (an old published load now deemed unsafe did 1800+). I have played with a lot of other weights but have settled on those for 90% of the shooting I do. From a Carbine 1800ish fps is easy enough with a 180, the 135 can go as high as 2200.

If you are a factory ammo only kind of guy then Buffalo Bore, Hornady and Federal have decent close to or full power options but the price is anywhere from $1-2/round. If we could get Double-Tap or Underwood ammo up here then the options would be pretty great and likely a bit more affordable.

With the right type of ammunition, however you look at it, it's actually a lot more power. Best if you're a reloader, both to maximize the cartridge's potential and to keep costs down. Factory ammunition is expensive and can be hard to find.

It's up to you to decide if "more power" has any value to you. Flatter shooting is nice, but more noise and recoil and cost maybe not so nice. And 10mm has a more solid application as a hunting round than 9mm (again, for a reloader).

Reload my friend reload if you are going to do any amount of shooting. It really is the only answer if you shoot in volumes and you have not yet won Loto Max.
