Well done. Hoping for my first this spring as well. I'll be trapping mine though as I already foolishly wasted money on tags last fall not realizing they were only good for 2014. Luckily my trapping license comes with four tags and my line just happens to be located in an area with one of the highest densities of bear in the province. Enjoy the meat bud!

I bought one of those bear calls today,cost $52 so it had better work haha.

And he'll make a great memory, too. First black bear I ever shot (first big game animal actually) was just about the same size -- and to this day it remains one of my fondest memories. You can shoot bigger ones in the years ahead, but you'll never again get to shoot your first one. Hold that memory close and never let it go
