Bear hunting boon for cubs, study indicates

Just hijack the thread for a sec. I saw a sow with four cubs this spring season, which I think is very unusual. Anybody else here has seen it before?
 
And each cub has different color. In this 6x6 miles area, I saw at least 5 adult boars roaming, and at least 4 of them were tagged. Right in the same clearcut me and my friend harvested an average sized boar on the last day of the season. After a week I went back and saw the sow and her cubs feeding there.
