Bear Hunting in Deer Country

Over the years the bear population has gotten thick in our area where we hunt deer. For the most part it's crown land. The gang I'm with for deer has hunted the area for over 30 years. Therefore the local population respects that and doesn't crowd that area during rifle deer season.
But at the same time there is a number of bear baits scattered throughout the area which borders the deer hunting grounds.

So now you have activity going on for almost 2 months or so with bear hunters coming and going and shooting and baiting. Their not right in the middle of where the deer are hunted but like I say hunting the edges of the properties we use as well as them selves in a couple of spots.
With the deer population down this year and even when its up, does anybody have an knowlegable opinion how this effects the deer activity in these areas if at all. I'm thinking that with bear hunt activity going on where deer are hunted it could drive some of the deer out and push them to a quieter area before the hunt starts. Any advice welcomed.
This thread is not meant to be a pro/con bear hunt debate at all just if hunting bear effects the local deer activity.

I wouldnt worry about it. Ive baited bear and had a deer garden less then 50 yards from each other in the same clearing. Both got hit daily.

I don't think it would have much of effect on the deer. They generally will summer in the same areas and not move out till winter. Dogs will move them out but they will come back.
