Bear Lure Slurry?

I'll be setting up a bait site in about a month. Yesterday I mixed up a slurry of: bacon grease, french fry oil, anise, and blood meal. Today I'm smoking some salmon so may add the rinse juice to it as well.
I put the slurry in 2l pop bottles for easy keeping/transport.

Here's the question, should I set the bottles outside to "age", burping them daily, or should I keep them in the freezer for a couple more weeks.
ie, in a month will it "age", or just rot/mold?

(I've also got some pretty good beaver stink, and made a honey/jello burn can for lure; will be using barley and apples for bait)
 
Go to a wine/beer making store and get an airlock and a carboeuy. Ferment in there and just transport in the 2L bottles. You'll save yourself a lot of burping. Aging can't hurt.
