Bear mounts/rugs ??

H4831, I love those colours, but don't think I'd ever find a bear like that around here...:(
 
Just sent in a real nice cinnamon color garbage bear to be done into a rug(shot him in the front yard after he kept coming up on the deck looking for cat food and garbage), do you fellas feel the open mouth is worth the $150 extra that the taxidermist wants for it?

Yup.. Its just a little bit of money and it looks much better IMO. I had it done that way, scarier for the kids too!!:D
 
Great picture...

For those of you that have trouble judging how big a bear is this is a perfect example look where the ears are see that they are not on the top of the head but more off to the side and the head is round not square/triangle.

Small bears have their ears more to the top of the head and do not have round heads like that...
 
Looking at these pic's makes me think that the bears I passed up on last Friday evening when I was out with my 2 year old son where bigger than I thought.

Here is a pic from a couple months ago of my grizzly from last year when I first brought it home...

Just my preference, but I'd like to have one done sheepskin style; no head or feet.

Easier to place on a sofa, chair or whatever.

Some of those mounts are sure nice...
