Bear season opens April 1 in BC.....

Even though I am using the Contenders my son will be using my Rem 700 LSS 300RUM or 375RUM he has always used 280 Rem's before other than the grizzly he shot with the 300RUM last year.

From the way he's talking I'm thinking he is leaning towards using the 375RUM this year.

I won't bother heading out for a while... we had wet snow here this morning. But when I do get out, I'll be carrying my stainless Ruger in 350Rem Mag with 225gr Sierras or maybe my stainless Ruger in 300win mag with 180gr Accubonds.

I'm going to try my ''new Husky ''9,3x57 with 286 gr privipartizans.I bought 3 of them from tradeex, one for me and the other two for my boys.One has a 2x7 leupold, the other has a norma peep sight-and I haven't decided what to mount on the other one-maybe an aim point.Most shots are well within 100 yards anyway
