Hi all
Looking for some info on an old scope I just picked up.
Paper info tucked in with it says Bearcub 4x
It has no turrets and came with rings attached. It looks like you can adjust the rings for left and right adjustment, one mount has an adjustment screw and mounts are numbered 26 on each.
Simple 2 line crosshairs.
Bell holds the following info
MASTER STITH MOUNTS S.A.TEX
KOLLMORGAN OPTiCAL CORP. BROOKLYN.NY PAT PEND
Surprisingly clear for an old scope
Any info would be appreciated
Stay healthy

Yes, they did become Redfield, and I can only remember seeing two of them in more than 50 years of hunting and shooting.

Stith made many different mounts to affix their scopes to different rifles. They were one of the first to have a mount for the Savage Model 99 lever guns.
