My neighbour just gave me a beat-up rusty vintage 2.5-power Lyman Alaskan 3/4 inch scope that he says belongs on the Browning T-bolt .22 he lent me.
It's been stored poorly and the exposed turret rings are rusty and won't turn and neither will the focus ring. The turret rings have no covrs.
It appears to be really out of focus right now.
Can I do it any harm to spray the rings with a shot of Fluid Film?
