1943 8x57. Think it was used as a pry bar and a club before I took the little orphan in. Lots of time got a new life.
Pick is from when I had it up for sale. But was having pre sellers remorse.![]()
Are you open to offers for purchase?
No, Do you really need two?
After digging this one out of the back of the safe for a picture, I got to thinking that most of us probably have one or two.![]()
This old Remington 721 in 300 H&H isn't much to look at, but still starts 180 gr Partitions at 3000+ fps, and delivers them into less than five inches at 300 meters.

The scope is just as old as the rifle, a Lyman All American.

The recoil pad is not so old, a double flip flop that makes the rifle feel like shooting a 270. Reminds me of the Ugly 9.3X62, and works just as well.

That's a really cool stock! Do that yourself of does someone make those?
Any close up's of the butt ammo holder?
I never had a pile of crap hand me down rifle growing up, figure your rifle would show me what I wasn’t missing.
My beater is a commercial Lee Enfield sporter in 303. It gets used as a back up rifle for my hunts and as a loaner.
The scope is mounted very low. Comfortable to use.
It makes a good loaner because it is dead simple to use.
