Beautiful TacSol .22 unhappy 'cause Santa can't find a high quality scope for it : )

Hey Gary et al,

Santa has looked for a scope worthy of this beautiful gun you sent me but not much luck so far. Please note that I'm a simple elf, not at all experienced in the .22 world and my very favourite scope is an ACOG. I know, I know, but if you or anyone else could suggest a low power and/or simple to use high quality scope that would be worthy of this present I would be forever grateful ;) Merry Christmas :d

I have 3 Tac Sol's. Go with a nice 1.25-4x VX-R. Awesome pair.

I also have a 4-12x VX-R on one and a 2-7x Rifleman on the other.

That being said, go with a low power VX-R

I'm a Leupold fan. Besides the quality, I take it you like the red dot "FireDot" tactical aspect too? It does match up with ACOG type viewing...the reviews say it performs well in "low light" conditions...a little bit heavy for a .22 perhaps?

I love the firedot on the VX-R. It can be set so it is infinitely tiny or super bright. I also like that the 1.25-4x version is very light.

Perhaps a Vortex 1-4x24 V-Brite would suffice?

That's a nice scope, red dot, a little cheaper too... I admit to having difficulty with putting a 1 lbs + scope on a tiny rifle though...on the other hand these scopes you guys are suggesting could probably work on .223 as well...hmmm

millet makes a red dot/horseshoe optic in 1.5-4x24 if I recall. Not top of the line but good for your needs

Everything I've read on the net, and people I know on CGN speak very highly of them. I was hoping I was not going to spend that kind of coin :( That being said, I'm all too familiar with pay up, cry once, go cheap and... :HR:

Thanks for your input guys, much appreciated. Merry Christmas!
