We just got in an order of CZ 557 rifles with exceptional wood. This is not a normal occurrence as the wood on these guns are usually a lot plainer.

Please call us if you're interested.

The wood on this gun is a little dark so took a couple close ups to really see the grain of this stock.

Got a wonderfull surprise from those folks at ISG...

After advertising as listed up there on this CGN tread that they just received a new shipmnet of CZ rifles, I received a rifle that was built in 2012!

Not telling your customer that this is ''NEW'' obsolete stock coming from whatever source and that rifles are a decade old already is not honest.

Just pure BS over the phone. Thankyou Jake...

Beware Hunters, stay away from that store.

Honestly tough, what difference does it make? You still got a brand new gun with beautiful wood and at a heck of a deal to boot (these usually run $13-1400). Having it sit in a warehouse or store floor does it no damage to a gun and there are so many more firearms out there like this that don’t sell for what ever reason, usually poor advertising/ low volume of customers in general (go see your local Canadian tire for example)

Exactly! If you don’t like, sell it. It should be an easy sell.

Yep, I would have jumped on this deal even if the rifle was 20yrs old. NOS is ok with me, these are beautiful rifles.

These rifles came into our inventory from the CZ distribution and didn't last more than two days. I don't know what I said that was BS but, if you're unhappy with the gun, ship it back for a refund. I have several clients that would love to have that gun.

New is new. Manufacture date has nothing to do with it. As long as it wasn't preowned - it's a new firearm. There are amazing rifles at a very reasonable price.

I thought CZ started making 557 in 2016.

65cutlass is right, IIRC they announced the 557 in 2015 and they were showing up in 2016 ( in my part of the woods anyways). Those 3 rifles have some be-a-utiful wood, glad I didn't see this post too early! My pockets would be slightly lighter, haha.

Unable to post picture, sorry.

Why are you selling it? Because your upset it was made earlier than you expected? It's still a brand new rifle as advertised. It's not uncommon for firearms to spend many years in a box at a distributor or retailer. Guns are not cars, year of manufacture usually doesn't equate to much.

If the retailer is offering a refund why not take them up on it instead of selling it at a loss? Also why not post it in the ee here if you're selling it?

Makes it even cooler that its older and pristine. I have a 557, really classy European rifle for a great price. An absolute tack driver.
