becoming a registered gunsmith

Anyone out there know how to become a registered gunsmith. Is there a course offered? If so where and how can I get some information on it. Thanks.
 
To become a registered gunsmith all you need is a liscence call cfc and they will be able to direct you I think it is between 2 and 3 hundred dollars a year you will need a shop that will have to be up to their specs basically you can't let anyone behind the counter where you do the work you don't need any special course just give the gov money and you are in buiseness.
 
All you need is a $100 federal licence and any applicable municipal license and you can be a licensed gunsmith (repair only - no sales) in B.C. You don't need tools or equipment or skill. Have a secure room for the feds to inspect, pay your money...
