Well...it was too hot to do anything and I was bored.
Quick root through the shed turned up some JB weld, Kiwi boot polish and a box cutter
Found the drill in the bathroom cupboard. Quick look at a couple of pics on the innernet and have at er.
Always had a bit of daylight under the heel of the receiver on the Boyds....time to fix that.
Woops !! Don't know how I missed that But I will fill it sometime later on. Right now all the daylight has gone and that's good enough for me.
The whole thing turned out better than I expected apart from the gaping chasm
No daylight and not too much tidying up to do.
Used a coat hanger for the front thingy tension, and it locks up nice and tight and passes the trigger test thing as well...

Going to leave it for 7 days before shooting ( mans gotta work ) so it should be well cured by then.
