Bedding a plastic stock ?

I have done a few. rough it up good with a dremel with a small round burr. undercut the lug area and drill tiny holes (1/16 works well)at all angles especialy in the recoil lug area. clean well with acetone and make sure the bedding material gets forced into the holes. this will help give a mechanical bond for the bedding epoxy as it doesn't stick that well to injection molded stocks. I have not had one loose bond using this method. keep in mind it will not turn tupperware into a macmillian stock. it may or may not help as the forend tends to be quite flexable on plastic stocks.

You can also strengthen the forward end of the stock by just filling in the recesses with epoxy. Even heard of ppl using aluminum arrow shafts down the sides of the front of the stock epoxied in. My bros savage 223 we filled with epoxy and he noticed an increase in accuracy due to the stock not contacting the barrel.
