Bedding cadex chassis

Hello I just recieved my cadex competition chassis, my question is should I bed behind the recoil lug or leave it as is? It's a savage la, with a machined recoil lug, I'm kinda torn because it can't hurt and it will be a 300wm when it's all done. But then again it's 2 machined surfaces sitting against each other.

Opinions?

You will never have even contact on 4 points.

Why don't you shoot it first and see how it shoots before bedding it, there is only one way to find out.

I never bedded my Cadex Chassis and I have a load that groups consistent 5 shot groups within a dime.

I'm going to take it out this weekend and give it a try, I'm waiting for my new barrel so I'll see how it shoots with the factory one compared to the old stock. I just wanted to see what everyone else was doing with theirs. Thanks
