Does any one know where to find some bedding compound??? We can't seem to find anyone stocking it..

We are in Alberta.. looking for the large multiple rifle packaging...

Devcon works good and is readily available at an industrial supply store {ackley granger and such places}.
Kiwi shoe polish works great as a release agent.

Found that Brownell's offers a non-flammable version of their accra-glass shop kit that can be shipped by air.

Devcon steel. best there is, many experts claim, due to low shrinkage rate while curing. all aklands in ab sell it, 1 lb is about $45 with discount. tell them you work for an oil company.

We use this exclusively. Try a marine supply place.

Devcon F (Putty) Aluminum gives you more bedding jobs per pound than the steel. Available in 1 pound and 3 pound kits.

The putty is easy to work with.

I love everything about Marine Tex, except measuring it. I havn't found a good way to measure or get it off the measuring device, and onto the mixing surface. Used Devcon steel syringes for the last couple of jobs since I didn't need much. Price per job is higher, but it sure ion convinient.

JB Weld is much easier to recover from than Devcon. I'm going to use West System epoxy with filler but I'm quite experienced with it from working on boats.
