Been looking and not finding!!!

There does not appear to be a "gunsmith tools" section on the EE or I would post a WTB. In mean time, I would appreciate any leads to find bushings for the Forster Universal Sight drilling fixture. I am looking specifically for the bushings for a #28 drill and a #18 or perhaps #17 drill - this would be the tap drill and clearance drill size for 8-40 taps. Do not need the "pre-drill" size...

Brownells is showing "Out Of Stock" since Nov. 2019, when I went ahead and "backordered" them - waited until May 1, 2020, then cancelled that part of the order - they are still showing as OOS. Went to Forster site in USA, and got shied away by flat $US 30.00 shipping cost. Seem to be simple enough to make, if I could figure out how to harden them (heat treat)...

Make them out of oil hardening tool steel and harden by heating red and quenching...

Will be a good learning project on the lathe - have several bushings here for the 6-48 set, so easy enough for patterns. Actually, the hardening part sounds pretty straight forward!!
