I can get natural and white colored pure beeswax from a bee place, which is prefered for bullet lube? Does it make a difference?

I got my beeswax for free. It was raw, about 50% dead bees and other junk by weight, I melted and poured it through a T-shirt twice, and I now use it for lube. It is definitely natural, with a deep yellow colour. And, it smells AWESOME. The kitchen smelled like honey for a week. I understand you don't get that with the white stuff.

I could only find it at $2.60lb if you bought 500+ pounds on ebay. I found 14lb for $60 and bought some. Good enough.

Natural or White? Doesn't matter as long as it's clean - go with the cheapest.

I found a guy on "usedottawa.com" who's 2 km from me. It's also worth checking out Kijiiji and local Apiaries. Locally on-line it seems to be going for about $7/lb.

50/50 Beeswax and something light and slippery (grease, lard, Crisco, Canola or Olive Oil, etc.) is a good mix. If for Blackpowder, you'll want to avoid any petroleum-based product.
