My "go to" started life as a second hand "deluxe" model - I've replaced the barrel with a fluted BC heavy barrel, turned a tube to slip on the end of the barrel to make sure the sound goes forward and not back - it's not a silencer - no baffles. In NZ the muzzle was drilled, crowned, and threaded for a screw-in adapter to take a silencer, but that all had to be sold before returning to Canada. The trigger is a Clark Custom trigger set, steel buffer removed for a nylon buffer, bolt release modified, and a hole bored in the back of the receiver to enable cleaning from the breech with a rod, without taking the barrel off. The stock was hogged out and the back three inches of the barrel are bedded in Devcon epoxy-steel. Most recent mod was to adapt the receiver to take the "tuff-22" magazine. The mag fits well and feeds if the cartridges are fed into the mag one-at-a-time but it's petty finicky if you use their slide-in clips..
Oh, yeah... forgot. Bad Bob reminded me. Ti extractor ...
