Beginner Question: Tikka T1x vs CZ 457 Synthetic — Why the $100 Price Difference?

I really like the short lift bolt compared to me CZ 452.

One of the big plusses of a 457...60* bolt throw. You have to mount optics pretty high on the older CZ's.

Not much difference, you just need to decide which platform with aftermarket support you want to have. and most importantly magazine.

This is great advice. The magazine quality, availability and price will tell you a lot about a gun.

Might I suggest you head over to the Rimfire forum, and examine the list on on the “My 22 shoots 1/2” groups at 50 yards…” You might find the results interesting and they might perhaps influence your choice. If you are into accurate rifles, that is.
